Current Schedule
While it is impossible to "study" for any test as comprehensive as the SAT is. It is possible to learn how to take the test better. Most students have been warned to the point of fear about the SAT.  "Your entire future depends on doing well."  In reality the SAT is just another test.  Longer, less focused and more comphrensive than the other tests but it is just a test.  So, while it does not make sense to review every subject you've learned, there are effective ways to prepare for the SAT.

To most effectively prepare for the SAT requires that the student to understand the structure of the test, experience taking an SAT and then look at the individual results of the test to find weaknesses. To achieve these goals, we schedule a group session to discuss the design of the SAT and test taking tactics that can be applied to the SAT. Followed by a full simulated SAT test. After the tests are graded, I meet with the student one-on-one to review how they scored, the types of problems that seemed to cause them the most trouble and suggest ways to improve those areas.

This requires the student commit to 3 meetings over a 1 to 3 week period.  The first meeting is a group session, lasting about two hours.  The second session is the Mock SAT test lasting about 6 hours.  The final session is a one-on-one review of the student's performance on the Mock SAT which lasts between 1 and 2 hours.
